Sherna Armstrong was born in Little Rock, AR, but she moved to Texas as quickly as she could, where she currently works as a soloist, section leader, Music Director, Stage Director, and producer of a recital series entitled “My Soul Music”, in the Dallas Metroplex. Her recent solo project, also entitled, “My Soul Music”, reflects her unique ability to perform a diverse palette of music equally well. She is also a Professor of Voice at Navarro College, and teaches English at SMU and at Richland Community College. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and maintains a private Voice and Piano studio.
