Sherna Armstrong has invited a few friends to join her on this “My Soul Music” recital.  They will perform “mostly Mozart” arias in honor of Mozart’s 250th anniversary. “My Soul Music” is a collection of pieces from varying genres that touch the soul.  These particular pieces reflect the progression of life, often more circular, than linear.  This journey takes us from our love for God, to our love for a spouse, and all the ups and downs that this type of relationship entails, to our love for our children.  Then, finally back to where we began, to our love for God.

Sherna Armstong and D. Dean are currently performing in Garland Civic Theatre’s production of Roger Miller’s “Big River.  Sherna plays the role of Alice and D. Dean plays the role of Jim.
